.About Shauna Fitzsimmons Sledge

Shauna Fitzsimmons Sledge is a partner at SledgeLaw Group PLLC. Shauna is an attorney and registered lobbyist with the Texas Ethics Commission, and her practice focuses primarily on legislative, state and local government, and water issues. Shauna represents landowners, businesses, industries, public and private water utilities, river authorities, cities, groundwater conservation districts, and other political subdivisions in matters involving regulation and planning, surface water and groundwater rights, water quality, water resource development and management strategies, real property transactions, environmental permitting, oil and gas, litigation, board governance, open government, and other local government issues.

She practices before the Texas Legislature, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Water Development Board, the Railroad Commission of Texas, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, numerous local and regional governmental bodies, and in court. Shauna is also a frequent lecturer on water and other policy issues throughout the State of Texas as well as a published author on such issues.

Shauna is a native of San Antonio, and currently resides in central Austin with her husband Brian and their growing family.
